Magic that resurrects the dead.
Master that, and I'm sure to find a gentleman who will tend to me. After all, there are more dead men underground than living men above it.
At first, I resurrected the dead who had secrets,
but I couldn't find a single one who would attack or torment me.
But I was sure to eventually succeed if I tried enough. Trusting this logic, I went to the graveyard and resurrected some of the dead there.
Once more, I couldn't find a man for me. So then I figured...why don't I resurrect them all?
But I failed. The skeletal body was simply too light. I put armor on it, but it lacked any and all skill. I spent many years training my man, but I was too desperate to make it work and before I knew it, I was too old for any of it to matter.
