Verse 1[]

Sleeping Beauty was, at last, alone.

Having found the silence she craved, she prepared to fall back into repose.

And yet

she could not fall asleep.

She could not shake the strange feeling that something was amiss.

She had no choice.

She had to discover what troubled her.

Parrah:

Can't sleep? Go ahead if you want.

Sleeping Beauty:

...I'm fine right now.

Noya:

But why? Go ahead and sleep.

Sleeping Beauty:

I have a bad feeling that I can't shake off...

Verse 2[]

She usually fell asleep right away.

But this time she knew bad dreams awaited her.

Verse 3[]

She loved sweet dreams, but couldn't abide frightening ones.

Verse 4[]

So very, very tired... But she could not sleep,

for fear of the nightmares lurking.

Verse 5[]

Once the darkness crept in,

even sweet dreams could nauseate.

Verse 6[]

When she felt a bad dream coming on,

she liked to have someone by her side.

Verse 7[]

...Agh. Why can't I sleep?

If only someone were here to help.

Verse 8[]

Why am I so tired,

yet dreams refuse to come?

Verse 9[]

Am I dreaming,

or am I awake?

I can't tell what's real here!

Verse 10[]

Sleeping Beauty heard someone lightly snoring.

A girl lay in blissful sleep.

Sleeping Beauty was so very jealous.

That's what she wanted, after all.

But wait...

"Why does she look so much like me?"

A princess, peacefully asleep.

Something was wrong with this pretty little picture.

There could only be one Sleeping Beauty.

Parrah:

Wow. She even sleeps as a nightmare.

Noya:

Her posture will make her go numb!

Sleeping Beauty:

What? Is that me?

Parrah:

Try knocking it outta bed to find out!

Noya:

Horrible thing! Wake it up!

Two Sleeping Beauties.

Both in love with sleep.

Both terrible at waking up.

Sleeping Beauty realized that she was watching herself.

If she were corrupted by the darkness, she could become a nightmare.

"However...

Before it all becomes too much...

It's best to take a short nap."

And with another little yawn, Sleeping Beauty became languorous.

Discordant Poem[]

It was always best to indulge in a bit of curiosity before laying down to sleep.

Dreams are deliciously bright, but sometimes darkness enshrouds them.

All she wanted was to rest unfettered.

The world of dreams was delightful.

Yet darkness lurked around every corner...

And if she fell under their spell...
