Summary[]
Memory of Dolls is a NieR:Automata collaboration event featuring 2B, 9S, A2, and Emil from NieR:Automata. In this event you clear event stages to obtain NieR medals that can be exchanged for materials and rewards.
This event has 12 verses that can be cleared on normal mode and hard mode. NieR medals will drop when completing each verse. Event armor can also be obtained through random drops on hard mode stages.
This event has two corresponding gacha banners. The first part of The Puppets' Feast banner is available during the first half of the event, and the rate-up weapons in this banner unlock A2/Breaker and Emil/Cleric. The second part of The Puppets' Feast banner is available during the last half of the event, and the rate-up weapons in this banner unlock 9S/Paladin and 2B/Crusher. 2B/Breaker is obtainable for free through login bonus for the duration of the event.

This job is available for free as a login bonus during the event. It can be claimed from the player's present box.
Grimoire Jobs[]
These jobs are only unlocked by pulling the associated weapon from gacha banners. These jobs are only available in the event gacha pool and will not be obtainable while the event is not active.
Event Weapons[]
Event SS/SR weapons are only available through the event gacha pool. S weapons Type-3 Lance and Emil's Head are available through the event gacha pool, and S weapon Iron Pipe is available through the event medal exchange. These weapons can be equipped for increased NieR medal drops when completing event stages.
Rerun Additions[]
These weapons were added to the gacha pool during the event rerun on the JP server.
Event Nightmares[]
The nightmare Disembodied Emil is obtainable through stage drops from the Experimental Weapon's Resolve conquest event. Nightmares Simone, Machine Lifeform, and Machine Lifeform (Gun) are available through the NieR Medal exchange.
Event Armor[]
Event armor pieces are mainly available through hard mode stage drops. There are separate armor pieces for every weapon type.
Story Support Skill: Water Soul
Increases the effectiveness of water weapon skills.
Set Effect: Machine Lifeform and Emil's Hunting Spirit
This skill is more effective on machine lifeform and emil type enemies.
Equip 2B's goggles, 2B's Combat Uniform, 2B's Gloves, and 2B's Boots to your main grid to obtain the set effect boost.

Conquest Event[]
Experimental Weapon's Resolve is a special conquest event only available during the NieR:Automata collaboration. Stage area boosts apply to all NieR:Automata characters. The SS/SR nightmare Disembodied Emil is obtainable through random stage drops.

[Traits]
Uses a wide array of attacks that target all player allies.
Cannot shoot its beam consecutively.
During wave 3, sometimes unleashes an attack that targets all allies and enemies alike.
[Strategy]
Its M.DEF ad P.DEF are on the low side, so be sure to come ready with weapons your character specializes in.
While its beam attack is extremely powerful, it takes a while to charge up, so use the down time to heal your party.
NieR Medals[]
Earning NieR Medals[]
NieR Medals are obtainable as drops from completing event verses. Higher difficulty verses drop more medals.
NieR Medals can also be acquired in the following ways:
- As rewards for clearing event stages
- Colosseum rewards
- Event login bonus
- NieR Collaboration missions
Colosseum rewards provide the following medals:
- Participation reward: 200 medals
- Win reward: 100 medals
- Skirmish Bonus: 100 medals (only 100 medals max daily)
Weapon Multipliers[]
Equipping NieR:Automata weapons to your main grid or subgrid will multiply the medals earned per verse.
SR Weapon Medal Increase Amounts:
- Without limit break: increases 1.2x
- Between 1 to 3 limit breaks: increases 1.3x
- 4 limit breaks: increases 1.4x
S Weapon Medal Increase Amounts
- Between 0 to 3 limit breaks: increases 1.1x
- 4 limit breaks: increases 1.2x
Weapon Effect Calculation Details
Assuming weapon A is a weapon with a 1.1x medal increase, weapon B is a weapon with a 1.2x medal increase, and 12 medals represent the base amount of medals dropped on a stage, the following examples are medal calculations under certain conditions. Decimals are rounded up to the nearest whole number.
1) If only weapon A is equipped:
Amount earned = (1 + 0.1) x 12 = 14 medals
2) If weapons A and B are equipped:
Amount earned = (1 + 0.1 + 0.2) x 12 = 16 medals
3) If A and B are equipped, and a Drop Vial is in effect:
Amount earned = (1 + 0.1 + 0.2) x 12 x 2 = 32 medals

Grimoire Banners[]
Gacha banners for the NieR:Automata collaboration are split into two parts, with each part available during separate dates.
The first part of The Puppets' Feast banner is available during the first half of the collaboration. This banner features weapons that unlock A2/Breaker and Emil/Cleric at increased gacha rates.
The second part of The Puppets' Feast banner is available during the second half of the collaboration. This banner features weapons that unlock 2B/Crusher and 9S/Paladin at increased gacha rates.
Pulling from gacha banners will dispense Moon Tear medals with every pull. A single pull will dispense 10 Moon Tear medals, and an 11-pull will dispense 100 medals. Medals can be used in the Moon Tear medal exchange to obtain rewards including banner jobs and weapons.
