The bamboo cutter's heart raced in his chest. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something else in the forest. His fears were realized when he cut open a shining stalk of bamboo and found a girl inside.

The curious, budding girl wandered the night, searching for new experiences. She knew she should play the model student, but she could not hide her truth. The moon always shone on the girl as she descended into darkness.

Act of Fusion[]

I lived inside an ordinary cell. One day it broke, and I was finally free. But I learned that living in the outside world I could no longer fulfil my own desires.
