Intro Scene[]
Parrah:
Alright, looks good enough.
Noya:
How do I put this...
Parrah:
You've figured it out, haven't you?
Noya:
Yes! We want YOU to kill the nightmares!
Parrah:
These mass-produced toys had flaws...
Noya:
Quite the defective bunch!
Parrah:
So before they become a problem...
Noya:
Before they get a chance to run wild...
Parrah:
We want you to take care of 'em!
Noya:
We'll send you their emotions again.
Parrah:
Use them as a clue!
Noya:
Dispose of what's broken, and quick!
Verse 1[]
They say rabbits die of loneliness.
Believing this,
I am forced to suffer through communal living.
I live with such great torment, that I sometimes wish to pull my limbs from their sockets.
If this place is not what I wished for, then I must run. Run far, far away.
I must use any means necessary to secure what I seek.
I vow to put forth the effort,
even though I so despise work.
Verse 2[]
I understand why I've been sent here,
but I want to tell them they've picked the wrong person for the job.
I feel no pride in what I do...
Only rebellion.
And as such, I am capable of just one thing...
Escape.
This would go against my many brethren.
I wish to retreat from the alluring aroma that follows me no matter where I go.
So I flee.
Verse 3[]
Idleness. Slacking off. Procrastination.
There are many acts that society deems "lazy".
But those are merely child's play.
Even sleeping is trivial when done to neglect your duties.
It's a temporary escape, at best.
I want to be even lazier than that.
I want to be lazy every second of every day...
...until the day I die.
Verse 4[]
I desire apathy in all its glory.
Careless, listless,
not lifting a single finger.
But there are too many obstacles for that to become reality.
So I've decided to find a solitary world
where I'm free to do nothing.
Verse 5[]
Sleepless days pass me by.
I laze about, restless.
My instincts tell me that I cannot survive this much longer.
My round eyes are bloodshot...
Red, like a rabbit's.
Profound drowsiness descends upon me, unrelenting.
I must fight off the ebb and flow of sleepiness...I...
...Zzzz.
Verse 6[]
My father, the cause of my laziness,
appeared to me in a dream.
"Focus on the process, not the outcome.
One day you'll reap what you sow."
My father's catchphrase,
sickeningly righteous.
He was a morbidly stern man.
But, foolish as I was,
I admired my father for his honest devotion to his work.
But he lamented his life at the end.
He insisted he was a failure...
...and hung himself right before my eyes.
Up until that moment...
Verse 7[]
How long was I asleep?
With groggy, half-open eyes,
I see the angel of death before me.
"You will let me have my fun, won't you?"
She stands atop an obscenely massive heap of bodies, their indiscernible faces staring blankly at nothing...
Ruins of those sent to this land alongside me.
From her putrid perch, she shoots me a penetrating gaze with lecherous eyes.
※
Solitary Black Rabbit:
Um... You won't let us go will you?
Parrah:
Of course not.
Noya:
Even asking is a waste of time!
Verse 7 Extra[]
With groggy, half-open eyes,
I see the angel of death before me.
When most come across someone
they have no desire to meet,
they head the other way.
But what choice do you have when there's no escape?
Verse 8[]
I may be injured, but it's a miracle I made it out alive.
I tremble at the sound of footsteps chasing after me, but I refuse to stop.
If I could escape, I told myself,
I'd find the life I so dreamed of.
The only safeguard from being a failure is to never try in the first place.
This thought crosses my mind,
but it's already too late.
※
Parrah:
It's no use. Let's break them.
Noya:
Rampage!
Parrah:
Rampage!
Verse 9[]
I'm covered in wounds.
My consciousness...fading.
My pre-programmed instincts reawaken and eat away at what's left of my resolve.
More power...more blood.
Power...to satisfy my princess.
It's...no use. I am...losing...
...myself...
Verse 10[]
"Ahaha! Ahaha haha! Ahaha!
I've lost my mind... And now...
I feel so full of POWER!"
Moonlight shone down on a howling beast, guided solely by instinct.
"Are you human?
Or are you a nightmare?
I guess it doesn't matter.
At this rate, I'm sure you'll provide the pain I so crave."
Kaguya beckoned the beast forth.
※
Solitary Black Rabbit:
We're toys made to make you happy!
Play with us all you want!
※
The rabbit finally found her coveted,
solitary world. She was now free from others' control,
and could laze about for all eternity.
That world was death.
"Not good enough."
Princess Kaguya felt the body, feverish just moments before, quickly grow cold as she stared listlessly at the moon.
Among its unchanging craters she could spot
the shape of a lone black rabbit.
Verse 10 Extra[]
More power! More, I say!
Aha! Ahaha haha!
